This Privacy Policy explains how Project Magnet FZ-LLC (“Project Magnet”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit projectmagnet.com or any website, landing page or interactive tool we operate (together, the “Sites”), and when you request quotes, estimates or information about home-improvement services through them.
1. Who we are
Project Magnet is a performance-marketing company that operates websites and interactive tools (for example cost estimators, safety assessments and product guides) that help homeowners research home-improvement services and connect with service providers. 2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Contact details: name, email address, phone number, postal address or ZIP code.
- Project details: the answers you give in our tools, such as the type of home you own, whether you own or rent, the service you are interested in, your timeline, budget range and financing interest.
- Business enquiries: company name, role and the details you send through our contact form.
Information collected automatically
- Device and browser information, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, pages viewed, referring pages and the ads or links that brought you to the Sites.
- Cookies, pixels and similar technologies (see section 7).
- Consent records: when you submit a request, we record the page you were on, the text of the consent you agreed to, the date and time, your IP address and, where enabled, a third-party consent certificate (for example TrustedForm by ActiveProspect or LeadiD by Jornaya) that documents your session.
3. How we use information
- To provide the estimate, assessment or information you requested.
- To connect you with one or more home-improvement service providers that serve your area and the service you asked about (see section 4).
- To contact you about your request by phone, text message (SMS) or email, including with automated technology where you have consented.
- To operate, secure, measure and improve the Sites and our advertising.
- To comply with law, enforce our terms and protect our rights.
4. How we share information — including with service providers who may contact you
When you submit a request through one of our tools, we share your contact details and project details with one or more home-improvement companies, contractors, dealers or lead-marketplace partners (“Service Partners”) so that they can contact you about your project. Depending on the tool, your request may be delivered to a single Service Partner on an exclusive basis or to more than one Service Partner. Service Partners are independent businesses; their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies. A current list of the categories of Service Partners, and where required by law the Service Partners themselves, is available at projectmagnet.com/marketing-partners.
We also share information with:
- Vendors that help us run the Sites — hosting, analytics, advertising, email and SMS delivery, call tracking, CRM and consent-verification providers — under contracts that restrict their use of your information.
- Advertising platforms (such as Google and Meta) to measure and optimise our campaigns, using cookies, pixels and hashed identifiers.
- Authorities and others when required by law, to protect safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
Some of this sharing may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under certain US state privacy laws. You can opt out as described in section 8.
5. Telephone, text-message and email consent (TCPA)
When you submit a request through our tools, you are asked to agree that Project Magnet and the Service Partners we match you with may call or text you at the number you provided, including using an automatic telephone dialing system or pre-recorded or artificial voice, and may email you, about your request. Your consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Message and data rates may apply. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to any text message, by telling the caller you no longer wish to be contacted, or by emailing privacy@projectmagnet.com. We keep a record of your consent, including a third-party consent certificate where available, and provide it to Service Partners so they can honour and evidence your consent.
6. Your choices
- Marketing emails: use the unsubscribe link in any email.
- Text messages: reply STOP.
- Calls: ask the caller to place you on their do-not-call list, or email us.
- Cookies and ads: see section 7.
7. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies, pixels, local storage and similar technologies for site functionality, analytics (for example Google Analytics), advertising measurement (for example Google Ads and Meta pixels) and consent verification. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and opt out of interest-based advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance and Network Advertising Initiative. We respond to Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of sale/sharing where required by law.
8. US state privacy rights
If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana or another state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have the right to: know what personal information we collect, use and share; access a copy of it; correct or delete it; opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Category disclosure (California): in the preceding 12 months we have collected identifiers, contact and commercial information, internet activity and inferences, and have disclosed identifiers, contact and commercial information to Service Partners and advertising partners for the purposes described above. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16.

We will verify your request using the contact details we hold for you. You may use an authorised agent; we may ask for proof of authorisation.
9. International transfers
Project Magnet is based in the United Arab Emirates and uses vendors in the United States and elsewhere. Your information may be processed outside the country where you live. We take steps to protect it consistent with this policy wherever it is processed.
10. Data retention and security
We keep request and consent records for as long as needed to fulfil your request, meet legal and contractual obligations (including evidencing consent), and resolve disputes — typically no longer than 5 years — and analytics data for shorter periods. We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information; no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
11. Children
The Sites are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows when. Material changes will be highlighted on the Sites.
